Bancroft Street Music is a boutique stringed instrument maker bringing instruments to guitar shows, unique craft fairs and music festivals. These include Jake's Flea Guitar Show and Philadelphia's Crafty Balboa and the Nelsonville Music Festival. We've sold instruments to collectors, aficionados and beginners.

Cigar Box Guitars

Cigar Box Guitars have a long history in American Roots Music. We at Bancroft Street Music love to create our own line of Cigar Box Guitars, each an original one-of-a-kind creation. From a 1-String Diddley Bow to 3 and 4-String Blues Boxes, we can make you a wonderful one of a kind instrument.
Cigar Box Amplifiers
Big sound from a little box! Our Cigar Box Amplifiers are 2.5 Watts of compact power. Each has a headphone jack, is powered by a 9 volt battery and fits comfortably in a gig bag or pedal case.
Mint Tin Microphones
These repurposed mint tins are outfitted with a 1/4 jack output and electronic pickup. This pocket-sized microphone works off of vibrations and is perfect for harmonica players and recording artists looking for an unusual and original microphone.
